88th Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Election

Town & Country Credit Union will host its 88th Annual Meeting, virtually and in-person, in March 2027. The meeting will include announcing the Board of Directors election, and reports from the Board Chair, Kalvin Larson, and the Credit Union’s President/CEO, Kalli Schell. Board of Directors Election

We're looking for board member candidates! As a credit union, we're governed by a Board of Directors comprised of seven Town & Country Credit Union members. This year, there are three Board positions up for election – one Minot seat, one Fargo seat, and one At-Large seat. The Minot seat must be filled by someone living within 75 miles of Minot, the Fargo seat must be filled by someone living within 50 miles of Fargo, and the At-Large seat must be filled by someone living anywhere within our field of membership.

We're looking for board members who are:

• Engaged community members who care about the success of the credit union.
• Financially savvy.
• Able to take time to review the board packets each month before meetings.
• Able to attend monthly board meetings.

Previous professional experience at a financial institution and prior board experience are not required. The Board members elected to the Minot and Fargo seats will serve a term of three years. The Board member elected to the At-Large seat will serve a term of one year.  Board members receive a monthly stipend in recognition of the time and energy invested in Board service. 

If you are interested in running, please contact a member of the nominating committee and submit an application by Friday, November 20. The Nominating Committee will then submit the slate of qualified candidates to the Board secretary to be placed on the ballot.

Nominations for vacancies may also be made by a petition signed by 100 members. The election will be conducted by ballot, and there will be no additional nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
