As the first day of school approaches, Town & Country wants to provide local children with much-needed supplies, so we’ve again partnered with the Minot Sunrise Rotary Club and the Minot Salvation Army to host Fill the Bus!

Donate on Wednesday, August 9: A big yellow school bus will be outside our Minot Main location in the back parking lot from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. to collect donations of new school supplies.  

Back to School Party! From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Town & Country back parking lot, Creedence Energy Services will be grilling lunch with a free-will donation benefiting the Salvation Army. There will also be a bounce house, cool treats, face painting and glitter tattoos, community booths and more! Kids that attend and donate school supplies will also get free zoo admission for the day!

If you’d like to donate school supplies before August 9, you can do so at our Minot Main and Dakota Square locations. The most needed items include backpacks, glue sticks, accordion folders, pencil bags and boxes, one-inch binders, Sharpies, red or black pens, crayons, paint, markers, Kleenex, headphones and highlighters.

Families needing school supplies can call the Minot Salvation Army at 701-838-8925 to apply. There is no income requirement to qualify.
