Credit Union Membership Requirements

The TCCU’s Pee Wee Young Savers Account, for ages 0-12, requires submitting a membership application, designed to be submitted by a parent or guardian. In stated application, TCCU requires personal information about the child for the purpose of establishing an account for membership. Information directly collected includes the child’s name, address, birthday and social security number. TCCU also requires the same information plus mother’s maiden name, phone number, email address, ID number, issue date and expiration date, employment status and a reference from the adult applicant. The adult applicant is required for children under the age of 18 and provides consent for TCCU to review this information for the sole purpose of opening an account at TCCU. The child’s name, address, email, and age will be used to send, via U.S. Postal Service and email, event invites, a quarterly eNewsletter and other emails based on their age. At any time, the child’s parent/guardian can contact TCCU and request that the child no longer be contacted via mail and/or email. The parent/guardian can also opt out at the bottom of every TCCU email or by sending a secure message using the “Contact Us” form on the Credit Union’s website, by email at marketing@townandcountry.org or by phone at 1-800-872-6358.

Special Promotions/ Sweepstakes

In the event of a special promotion or contest, information collected on behalf of the child, which may include name, contact info (email or phone number) and age, will be purged and not used for any other purposes besides notifying the winner following the conclusion of the contest.
