Town & Country Credit Union to award $10,000 in grants to small business members

The 2024 small business grant application has closed. Winners will be announced in July.   

Small businesses are the backbone of our communities. To show appreciation for the businesses who partner with us to achieve their goals, we provide annual Small Business Grants. Small businesses can apply for this $2,500 grant from Town & Country Credit Union. Applications are open May 1 -31, 2024. 

To apply for the grant, members will answer this essay question: How would your small business use $2,500 to create a positive impact on your staff, customers or the community?  

Four small businesses will be selected and notified in early July 2024.

Official Rules

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest. A purchase or payment will not increase or improve the chances of winning.

How to Apply:

Fill out the form above and attach an essay answering: How would your small business use $2,500 to create a positive impact on your staff, customers or the community?  

Eligibility:

• Must be a current Town & Country Credit Union member in good standing.
• Must be a "for-profit" business currently in operation. Non-profits can request donations anytime by using our online application. 
• Must not be a past Town & Country Credit Union small business grant winner.

Application Process:

• Applications open Wednesday, May 1, and will close at the end of the day on Friday, May 31, 2024.
• An internal panel of Town & Country employees will judge and choose the winners.
• Grant winners will be notified in early July 2024.

Format / Guidelines

• Business applicants must fill out the form below in full. For the essay, please follow these guidelines:
• The essay must be typed and, at most 1,000 words, submitted as a pdf.
• Do not include the business name in the essay or in the title.
• The PDF file should be saved/named as the title of your essay.

Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the contest constitutes the winner’s consent to Town & Country Credit Union’s use of the winner’s name, image, and statements for promotional purposes in any manner or media (including, without limitation, online and in print) in perpetuity and without further payment, consideration, notice, review or consent, unless prohibited by law.

Conditions

1. Town & Country Credit Union reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the contest if, in Town & Country Credit Union’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the contest, or if viruses, bugs, technical difficulties or any other factor beyond reasonable control affects the administration, security, fairness and integrity.
2. Winners will have until July 31, 2024, to accept the small business grant requirements and sign the acceptance letter along with the W-9 mailed to them.
3. Winner will receive a Form 1099 from Town & Country Credit Union. Any taxes (including income, local, state and federal) and fees associated with acceptance of the grant are sole responsibility of the winner.
